What is Marriage all about?

What does the Marriage mean?
The definition of marriage varies according to different cultures, but it is principally an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually sexual, are acknowledged. In some cultures, marriage is recommended or considered to be compulsory before pursuing any sexual activity. When defined broadly, marriage is considered a cultural universal.
Marriage is not only about two souls getting together. Its about two families joining together.
“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.”

  1. In my point of view Marriage can be recognized by a state, an organization, a religious authority, a tribal group, a local community or peers . In terms of legal recognition, most sovereign states and other jurisdictions limit marriage to opposite-sex couples and a diminishing number of these permit child marriages, and forced marriages. In some areas, child marriages and polygamy may occur in spite of national laws against the practice.

  2. Yes I agree.Actually in my point of view Most people get married believing a myth that marriage is a beautiful box full of all the things that have longed for;Companionship, intimacy, friendship, etc.,The truth is that marriage at the start is an empty box.You must put something in before you can take anything out. There is no love in marriage.Love is in people. And people put love in marriage.A couple must learn the art and from the habit of giving, loving, serving, praising and keeping the box full.If you take out more than you put in the box will be empty.

  3. Yes I also agree this post. Individuals may marry for several reasons, including legal, social, libinal, emotional, financial, spiritual and religious purposes. Whom they marry may be influenced by socially determined rupes of incest, prescriptive marriage rules, parental choice and inidividual desire.

  4. Actually, marriage is the process by which two people make their relationship public, official, and permanent. It is the joining of two people in a bond that putatively lasts until death, but in practice is increasingly cut short by divorce. Over the course of a relationship that can last as many as seven or eight decades, a lot happens. Personalities change, bodies age, and romantic love waxes and wanes. And no marriage is free of conflict. What enables a couple to endure is how they handle that conflict. So how do you manage the problems that inevitably arise and how can you keep the spark alive depends upon the individual!
